On Wednesday, September 30, the Campaign to Decriminalize Nature DC teamed up with environmentalists and naturalists to put on an educational zoom panel that explored the interplay between environmentalism and entheogenic plants & fungi. This panel provided a space where environmental and naturalist groups and experts to bring their diverse backgrounds to the table to enrich and widen the scope of the topic at hand. Our goal in the panel is to educate people on the natural plants and fungi of Initiative 81, the role these entheogens play in our shared environment, and how decriminalization serves to address the impending climate crisis.
